Kadam Asian Dance & Music is a lively and thriving agency that sustains promotes and develops South Asian dance in Bedfordshire, the eastern region of the U.K and beyond through a series of high quality programmes. The company offers dance training, workshops and residencies, promotes performances, creates resources in partnership with local and national agencies.

Kadam is the publisher of the premier dance magazine Pulse, which has an international readership.

Sampad is a dynamic South Asian arts organisation based in Birmingham, which plays a significant role regionally and nationally in promoting the appreciation and practice of the arts originating from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The artform range includes dance, music, drama, literature and crafts.

In terms of South Asian dance Sampad is involved in exploring and extending the vocabulary. It has initiated collaborations between different South Asian dancers, and between dancers of South Asian and other forms.
