Description

Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company presents a sensational double-bill inspired by the drive and bustle of youth and cities.

Bruise Blood (2009) brings together beatbox artist Shlomo and composer Glyn Perrin to remix Steve Reich’s seminal classic Come Out. By way of contrast, the popular and critically acclaimed Faultline (2007) features the hauntingly beautiful voice of Indian soprano Patricia Rosario and is inspired by Gautam Malkhani's hit novel Londonstani, which vividly portray attitudes and tensions of British Asian Youth.

The Company’s stunning international cast of dancers convey Jeyasingh's commitment to presenting dance that is powerful, strikingly original and beautiful to watch.
