This unique examination is designed to embrace all forms of dance within the 12 Theatre and Dancesport Faculties of the ISTD. It is hoped that all teachers will use this Award as part of their Olympic celebrations. Candidates may be entered by any ISTD teacher on a global basis.

In the examination, the candidate will need to present two solo performances of different genres, either those used as Grade dances or choreographed especially for the Award. Time limit will be at least one and a half minutes and no longer than two minutes for each performance. Good news is that there is no theory questioning for this Award!

Candidates from Grade 1 level upwards including all the Vocational Grades from Intermediate Foundation upwards can be entered.

Upon completion of this examination, the candidate receives a specially designed Award, certificate and report form. The two-dance examination costs only £15.00 in the UK (international fees available from the International Examinations Department).
